Rabbit Story

Ruth visited Whitby Museum earlier this summer to view some of their sampler collection. They had a few of their old handwritten charts for sale in the shop, but most were out of stock. She has volunteered to update and reproduce some of their sampler charts electronically, and the first three (above) of hopefully around ten, are now available as pdfs in her Crowsfeet Etsy shop.

All the money from the charts, after Etsy fees, will go directly to the Museum, to their Costume and Textiles department, Conservation and Education. Whitby Museum doesn't receive national funding so any sales will be really appreciated by the Museum.

Their website says "Whitby Museum is run by the Whitby Literary and Philosophical Society. The Society is an entirely voluntary organisation, maintained by its members and supported by donations from the general public. We receive no money from national or local government."
